CARLSBAD, Calif.– January 21, 2020 – usaopoly (The Op), a leading tabletop games publisher, is teaming up with Topps, creator of the Garbage Pail Kids (GPK), to offer an irreverent and nostalgic version of one of the world’s most popular games, MONOPOLY®. The release of this new game coincides with GPK’s 35th anniversary, a year-long celebration of the brand’s fun, quirky and irreverent heritage.

Especially pleasing is fan-favorite GPK artist Joe Simko’s return to deliver a fresh, cheeky art design for the Monopoly box top. Once the game is cracked open, players will vie to collect iconic characters such as Adam Bomb and Leaky Lindsay in order to reign supreme — and will pick one of six collectible movers such as an Overflowing Garbage Can, Swirly Dog Poop or Zit Goo Tube to navigate the game board.

They’re going to get a kick out of this bold mashup between GPK and Monopoly.”
