“Slingin’ burgers” takes on a whole new meaning with the newest roll-and-fling family game from The Op Games | usaopoly! Bob’s Burgers Belcher Family Food Fight has finally arrived—and being told to clean your plate has never been more exciting!
In this tomato-tossing, lettuce-lobbing, plate-passing frenzy, your favorite fast food family The Belchers are settling the usual petty dispute with a good old-fashioned food fight. Gather around with Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene, Louise, and Teddy to pitch everything but the kitchen sink at your opponents! Roll the dice to determine what to grab-and-go without sparing a second. Then get rid of all your food to prove you’re the fastest hands on the line!
A Fast-Flying Fun Food Game
Driven by the think fast, rapid-fire “ditch it” gameplay mechanic introduced by The Op’s award-winning title Astro Trash, Bob’s Burgers Family Food Fight has players moving on the double to displace game pieces from their player mat on their neighbors’. Master passing five ingredients (buns, tomatoes, lettuce, patties, and cheese) and be the first one with nothing left on your plate to collect a Golden Spatula. The first one to claim three Spatulas is the food fight champion!
Three Ways to Play
Just as Meatless Mondays and Taco Tuesdays liven up a weekly dinner plan, Bob’s Burgers Belcher Family Food Fight can be played three different ways to stimulate the table’s appetite for competition.
“Come meet our family! Let us meat you!”
You can pretty much give up on having your plate to yourself when you serve up a round of “Family Style Dinner”. With this variation, player mats are passed to the left or right anytime a player rolls a 3! Imagine moving as quickly as you could just to pick up someone’s slack! And while variety is the spice of life, “Tina’s Hint” in the rulebook recommends getting the basic gameplay down a few times before advancing to this mode.
“Nothing makes me happier than a burger that’s perfectly done.”
Let the ingredient invasion begin! “Best Burger Builder”, inspired by the fifth episode of the fifth season, puts players in the position of winning at Wonder Wharf. In this variation, collect ingredients to assemble as many burgers as you can, using only what your dice dictates you can snatch and from where. The round ends when the grill is empty, and the person with the most complete burgers wins.
“You can’t TAIL me what to do…”
Either of the above game modes can be made kid-friendly by omitting the Food dice from the recipe—allowing small fries to move any ingredient they choose.
Fast food fanatics aren’t strangers to order customization, which Belcher Family Food Fight delivers. As with The Op’s previous releases MONOPOLY®: Bob’s Burgers Edition, CLUE®: Bob’s Burgers, and Jenga®: Bob’s Burgers Edition, the show team made sure to have their hand in the artwork for the packaging and pieces, down to the tomato seeds. All six double-sided placemats pay homage to every member of the clan, with each plate flanked by subtle references to their personal effects–from Gene’s gassy keyboard to Louise’s Burobu cards.
