Accept the Quest to Protect One of The Mighty Nein in CLUE®: Critical Role – Available Now!

The Harvest Close Festival is taking place in the spirited city of Zadash, where our favorite adventuring party, The Mighty Nein, are exploring the selection of games and merchants. But unbeknownst to the bold travelers, an anonymous threat aiming to take revenge on one of them is looming, and it’s up to you to stop the attack! In this story-rich and suspenseful spin on the classic mystery game, join the crew from Campaign 2 of the acclaimed role-playing web series Critical Role to expose the assailant before it’s too late.

CLUE®: Critical Role lets players get behind The Mighty Nein and be the hero in an epic side quest, and it’s available now from The Op!

You can already hear the plot unfold as Fjord Stone, Caduceus Clay, Caleb Widogast, Jester Lavorre, Beauregard Lionett, Nott the Brave, and Yasha Nydoorin make their presence known on the colorful custom game board. Take a Mighty Nein mover and their Character Role card to arm yourself with a unique skill as you start narrowing down WHICH of seven Hero Tokens will reveal the target of the attack, WHO is the villain that’s set on revenge, and WHERE in the city they are planning to strike!

Track one another’s discoveries as you divide and conquer the structures of nine familiar locations throughout Zadash, including The Gentleman’s Hideout, Valley Archive of the Cobalt Soul, The Invulnerable Vagrant, The Pillow Trove, and more. The Hero Tokens you’ll find in each room are artifacts from the characters’ backstories, representing who might be in danger. As you continue to come up with assumptions, drawing Encounter Cards will pose a challenge that you must resolve with your character’s stat values. Choose how you want to proceed, roll both d6 die, and hope the result will equal an advantage later in the game. Harvest Close Cards, however, lapse the precious time you need to solve the mystery. There is one card for each day of the event, and if the eighth and last card is drawn before you have all the answers, the festivities end for our determined friends. What kind of party is this?

Will Captain Avantika be the culprit coveting the Cloven Crystal in the Victory Pit? Or will Isharnai get away with Frumpkin the Cat from Chastity’s Nook? Monitor your findings using the custom Critical Role Clue® sheets to deduce the details left to uncover. It’s the least you can do without a GM to guide your way to victory!

CLUE®: Critical Role is for 2-6 players, ages 8 and up, and is available now for $44.99 from The Op’s online shop! For those with an existing Critical Role collection to be reckoned with, make sure you’ve added MUNCHKIN®: Critical Role and a breadth of Critical Role accessories and puzzles featuring fan art by Jolyne Garcia (@Joric_art) and Shaun Ellis (@shmaba) for the most discerning Critters. Welcome us to your table by tagging @theopgames and @CriticalRoleClue to show off which character you’re following for the win, plus a chance to be featured on our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok!
